Erica Villalpando – Part-Time Instructor

Erica graduated Summa Cum Laude with her B.A. in Dance and Theatre from Chapman University and her A.A. in Dance/Humanities from Riverside Community College as well as Mt. San Jacinto College. She is Pilates certified through Aline Conditioning and Barworks certified from Yogaworks. Erica has taught at Golden West College, Orange Coast College, Chapman University, Cal State Long Beach and many schools and studios in the Los Angeles and Orange County area. In 2003, she helped develop a California state model creative dance program through Arts Orange County and taught two master classes at the American College Dance Festival in Modesto, California. Erica has worked with Fred Strickler, Stephanie Gilliand, Murray Louis, Risa Steinberg, Amanda Turner, Anandha Ray, Peter Kalivas, Jenny Backhaus, Andy Vaca, Nannette Brodie and other well-noted choreographers. She has danced for Wasted Talent Dance Company, Sustaita Dance, Moving Arts Dance, and Metropolitan Ballet. Erica’s teaching, choreography and performances have taken her all over California, Chicago, Nevada, Arizona, New York, Utah, Mexico, Finland, Iceland, France and Prague. Erica is also currently dance faculty at Golden West College, Rehearsal Director and Dancer for Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre, teacher for Dance for Joy Ministries, Pilate’s teacher at HB Yoga Collective in Huntington Beach and a soccer/dance Mom of two kids!
