Jojo Siu (Josephine Ho) – Part-Time Instructor

Jojo Siu - Part-time Theater FacultyJojo Siu graduated from University of California, Irvine with her M.F.A. in Costume Design. She hails from Philadelphia, and has been working as a designer for film, opera, theatre and dance in Philadelphia, New York, Maryland, California, Santa Fe, and Singapore. She has worked with the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, the Santa Fe Opera, South Coast Repertory, Golden West College, Chapman University, Backhaus Dance, OC Shakespeare Festival, the Milburn Stone Theatre, and Singapore Repertory Theatre, among many others. She is a huge advocate for diversity within theatre, and loves bridging diversity and design by promoting Asian design aesthetic in her work, and being inspired by the Asian folklore and tradition that is important to her own Chinese heritage and history. She’s participated in the Consortium of Asian American Theatres and Artists as a panel speaker, and designed for several world premieres, including The Trial of Dedan Kimathi, The Madres at Skylight Theatre, and W.A.S.P. Her repertoire includes Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like It, Othello, and Twelfth Night, Importance of Being Earnest, Toys in the Attic, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Evita, Spring Awakening, Eurydice, Waiting for Godot, Never the Sinner, and Blood Wedding. She currently serves as an adjunct professor at Chapman University, Fullerton College, and Golden West.
