Play information:

Based on the ancient Greek myth of King Oedipus, this powerful, riveting, drama by Sophocles is sure to keep audiences in suspense until the final curtain falls. First performed at the ancient Greek Theater of Dionysus in 430 BC, Oedipus Rex is still considered by many to be the greatest play ever written. Aristotle called the play “the supreme example of the tragic form.” He was right!
