Play information:
Set in the backwoods of Oregon in the 1850’s, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, tells the story of the Pontipee brothers who are living a rough and lonely existence on their woodland farm.  When Adam, the eldest of seven brothers, rides into town one day to pick up some supplies, he also manages to pick up a headstrong bride! Returning with Adam to his home, the new bride, Millie, not only discovers that Adam has six brothers living in her new home, but that she is expected to cook and clean for all of them! Quickly deciding it is high time to tame these six rowdy bachelors, Millie valiantly attempts to civilize the brothers so that they can find brides of their own. But Millie’s plan backfires when the brothers decide to snatch six women to be their brides! Boisterous, hearty, and exuberant, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is chock-full of delightful comedy, charming melodies, and show-stopping dances! Join us for a rollicking good time!
