Amanda Hallman – Part Time Instructor

Amanda HallmanAmanda Hallman (she/her) is a director, educator, producer, theatrical intimacy consultant, and retired actor. She earned an AA from Fullerton College, a BA from UC San Diego, both in Theatre with emphasis in Acting and Directing, and an MFA in Performance Pedagogy from Loyola Marymount University. Her interests and research surrounding theatre include consent-based practices, trauma-informed pedagogy, anti-racist education, and theatre for social change. Most recently, Amanda directed and co-produced The Revolutionists at The Curtis Theatre in Brea, CA presented in association with Begins and Ends with ‘A’ Productions, of which she is co-founder and co-owner. She is thrilled to be joining the Theater Arts department at Golden West College.
